Nostalgia
January 19th, 2004Getting nostalgic at the wrong time, with an exam to go tomorrow (what could be worse than that?), newayz lots to study and worst of all mug
(There are pretty less no of things I’ve failed at in the course of my academic career and mugging happens to top the list, I just can’t get anything into my memory unless I understand them).
All said and done, the truth still happens to be that I’ve got an exam tomorrow, and my preparation (doesn’t qualify for that word but still…) is way too little.
Current mood is not exactly describable in just a word, so here’s my own lyric for the mood.

A STAR GAZER’S RIME
—————————————————
I see clouds; I see clouds over the horizon,
They’re watching us, from behind the clouds,
Stars in my own sky, my own dreams I see,
Looking up, I hope to see, see my own star shine,
Starlight I hope to see, my paths they do light,
Turned my eyes towards the sky, over the clouds,
See me through the mist; I’m waiting to show,
Watching behind the clouds, wait and watch,
Beyond the distant woods, lies peace and solace,
Over the Orion Mountains, I look for my star,
Lying on the fresh wet grass, on the chilly night,
Oh! The vibes I still can feel, looking at my star,
The night is cold, but the feeling’s still warm,
The moon slid out, Venus I see beyond my skies,
Other face of moon, that men in past failed to see,
Oh time! Get my past back to me, I’m waiting,
Comets they come again, stars they shine again,
History it repeats itself, I’m waiting for starlight,
Focused at the sky, waiting through the night,
Looking through the glass I see great stars,
What lies beyond the distant stars, I still wonder,
What lies beyond those twinkling wonders?
So close yet so far, where time and space merge,
Time is lost in space and I still speculate at it,
Take me in my star; take me into your abode,
Let me sleep in bliss, under thy starlight,
Don’t cause me pain, I can’t take anymore,
Now its time I slept till eternity in your lap….
