Google linux?
October 21st, 2006I didn’t know this www.google.com/linux existed.
On this note, I’ve been thinking a lot. And I came up with my imaginary webworld 2.0
Think about a world where you have all your network from orkut and social networking features too from it, Contact lists from Yahoo!, Amazon and Google. All photos from flickr, audio from evoca and videos from youtube. Bringing together bluedot.us, del.icio.us, reddit and digg creating one web sharing service. Put linkedin and myspace together. Build all of this into a webapp which has really good UI like wallop, integrate meebo into this. Bring together lj and blogspot.
You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one
bluedot.us is a yet another social networking platform where people can share links, its slightly different than del.icio.us as it allows posting by just a single click on the browser and it has some other social networking components built in.
But I still wonder, with so many such new social networking platforms, what will people finally use. I feel this is just fragmenting user community.
