Crested serpent eagle stare

The crested serpent eagle is one of the most common raptors in the South india jungles. This was shot on a rainy and hence bad light, but it was only due to the rain that the crest is so prominent

On the drive back from Daroji Bear sanctuary, we saw this guy in the fields. My friend Sanath was driving and providing the much needed light on the leopard from the car. One of the most amazing sightings and wildlifing experiences I've ever had.
