Eye of the Tahr

The Nilgiri Tahrs are endemic to the high altitude grasslands of Western ghats, And the best place to shoot them is the Eravikulam National park, though they are also found in the thekkady forest ranges. No photographer ever comes dissappointed from here.

On the drive back from Daroji Bear sanctuary, we saw this guy in the fields. My friend Sanath was driving and providing the much needed light on the leopard from the car. One of the most amazing sightings and wildlifing experiences I've ever had.
