Gray mongoose

Mongooses are pretty common to spot but hard to photograph as they very shy and disappear in a jiffy. This guy was quite curious and stopped for a short while before going inside the shrubs.

On the drive back from Daroji Bear sanctuary, we saw this guy in the fields. My friend Sanath was driving and providing the much needed light on the leopard from the car. One of the most amazing sightings and wildlifing experiences I've ever had.
