Also know as the gray langurs, these are the most common apes found in the South Indian jungles. Quite intelligent and social, they are found in small groups sitting and preening each other or sitting idle like this guy.

Ghost of darkness

On the drive back from Daroji Bear sanctuary, we saw this guy in the fields. My friend Sanath was driving and providing the much needed light on the leopard from the car. One of the most amazing sightings and wildlifing experiences I've ever had.
